OUR OFFERING
ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES
Private coaching is for children at any skill level who desire to have a self-paced learning experience. This includes beginners who want to advance to the intermediate programme faster than the group, or accelerated players who want to achieve personal goals on their own timelines.
- R 450.00 per session (1 hour)
- R1600.00 per month (4 sessions)
- R3000.00 for 10 sessions
Fees are payable in advance and exclude transportation which is calculated based on the distance from Wits Sturrock Park to your location and communicated upfront.
GROUP SESSIONS
Our group training foster a sense of community, allowing students to learn, compete, and grow together.
Sessions are divided into three categories: Beginners, Intermediate and Accelerated.
- The Beginners’ Programme is for children who are still grasping chess basics. We use interactive learning methods such as colouring in and colour-coding.
- The Intermediate Programme provides a well-rounded chess education to enhance children’s chess skills including openings, the middle game, mating patterns, and tactics.
- The Accelerated Programme is for students who have a taste for competitive chess and are eager to take their game to the next level.
